In 2014, Cosmin Costinas co-curated a show about Martin Wong, Ai Weiwei, Frog King Kwok and Tehching Hsieh, and how they might or might not have met in New York in the 1980s.

Costinas gives a lecture about the work of Martin Wong and how he maneuvered among diverse artistic and ethnic communities, collected, and produced a history based on legends, relationships and minor narratives.

Cosmin Costinas is the executive director of Para Site in Hong Kong.

This event takes place in connection with Martin Wong: Painting Is Forbidden, organized by CCA's Graduate Program in Curatorial Practice, and in collaboration with Kadist Art Foundation, San Francisco.
