This catalog is the first-ever monograph on Mario Ybarra Jr.'s work and an important document of the mural he produced at the Wattis Institute during his Capp Street Project residency. It includes full-color installation photographs, images of his previous works, a tour given by the artist of some of San Francisco's most historically important murals, a text by Claire Fitzsimmons on his Wattis Institute mural, and an essay by Jens Hoffmann surveying his entire oeuvre.
